I rode a motorcycle to Yanjin on the weekend, and saw the dense buildings built on the river bank with my own eyes. One-third of the houses here are in the mountains, one-third are on the upper floors, and one-third are suspended above the river. All the railways passing through here have to be in the tunnels in the mountains. Therefore, it is jokingly called the "first-tier city" in Yunnan with subways.
